Rockshow Records was founded in 2016 by Michael Johnston and Daniel Lovell — musicians and music fans. Rockshow Records focuses on talent in rock, alternative rock, hard rock, punk and folk rock music. Our artists are hard working, original and gritty.
More than a label, Rockshow Records is a family. We support one another, promote one another. We play shows together. We are brought together by our love of music, our compulsion to create. We are driven by the need to create great songs and to connect with our listeners through music.
Michael Johnston is founder and principle of Rochester Rockshow booking and promotions. He is also singer and guitarist for Hojack.
Daniel Lovell has been playing music professionally for over 25 years. He’s released eight albums as a band member or solo artist. He’s currently singer and multi-instrumentalist for Nightlite Mary.
